阿列沙巴拿加發聲明解畫：我尊重領隊的權威

如果尊重領隊，為何不肯被換走？

聯賽盃決賽，車路士在互射12碼階段不敵曼城無緣獎盃，外界焦點都是門將阿列沙巴拿加拒絕被換。車路士領隊沙利以為此子抽筋及受傷想換人，甚至卡巴尼路已經換好球衣並有球證準備舉牌示意，但擾攘一輪之後這位24歲西班牙門將還是不肯離開，結果守到最尾但球隊輸了比賽。

事件過後，阿列沙巴拿加在社交媒體發表聲明，交代他所理解的版本：「首先，我對於大家如何看待比賽末段的事情感到遺憾，我從來沒有打算不服從領隊或他的任何決定，我相信所有事情都被誤解了。領隊認為我無法比賽，事實我的手勢是表達我的狀態很好，想繼續幫助球隊，直到醫護人員來檢查後才弄清狀況傳遞訊息。外界對於那些畫面的想法不等於是我的意圖，我是非常尊重領隊和他的權威。」

車路士傳奇隊長泰利怒轟阿列沙巴拿加不尊重領隊：「當你的號碼被高舉，好應該換人離場，展示你尊重領隊。無論有何不滿，應該完場後才拆解。」泰利又說，他很奇怪沙利最後沒有強逼門將換走，又指未來24小時車路士發生的事情值得外界留意。

「車路士今天表現不錯，但這件事情令到比賽變得不完美，而且令人失望。如果我在更衣室內，我會期待領隊馬上解決事件。」泰利說道。另一位車路士舊部瑟頓說，阿列沙巴拿加的行為不能接受，理應在未來棄用。
